Installing your Copper Shield push plate
Open it.
Once you have decided where to place your new Copper Shield push plate, cut open the package and remove the push plate.
Peel it.
Clean the surface you are planning to place the plate on, ensuring it is dry.
Then flip the plate over and peel off the backing paper to reveal the adhesive backing.
Place it.
Align the plate to your desired location and press it against the surface.
Press it with your hand for 15 seconds applying pressure to different parts of the plate to ensure it is stuck evenly.
Installing your Copper Shield handle/rail wrap
Open it.
Identify the handle or railing you would like to provide protection. If your rail is long, we recommend finding high touch areas of it.
Cut open the package and remove the handle/rail wrap.
Copper Shield wrap can be trimmed to length with sharp metal shears/scissors and ends sealed with ‘Supa-glue’ equivalent.
Peel it.
Before peeling off the backing, clean the handle/rail and ensure it is dry. Do a test placement of the wrap so you can practice wrapping it and make sure you are happy with the position.
Then peel off the backing paper to reveal the adhesive backing.
Wrap it.
Wrap it around the handle/rail like you are applying grip to a tennis racquet handle aiming for each rotation to squeeze firmly against the last one.
Apply tape to secure ends.
Check out our social accounts for examples.
End tape may need reapplication depending on cleaning products used.
